Students who have injury, illness, or a special need that prevents them from attending a group class can request personalized online lessons directly with Terri. She personalizes the practice and guides the way for students to learn how to manage stress and balance body.
Small group lessons are also available for friends/co-workers to practice together and support each other for better health. Lessons are available for both children and adults. Together students learn simple techniques to calm mind, manage stress and strengthen body, especially during challenging times. The hourly rate can be shared among the group of students participating, which makes this a very affordable option!

How do I prepare for an online class?
- Students should consult with their health professional before starting any new exercise regime.
- Follow the instructions for setting up a zoom account.
- Clear a safe space to practice without obstacles and distractions. (It is recommended to secure pets in a separate space to avoid tripping over them.)
- Arrive a few minutes early for class to set up your cell phone, laptop, or ipad so you can easily view the instructor on ‘speaker view’. (The larger screens are easier to view. Some students connect their device to the television set to view with a big screen.)
What do I wear?
No special clothing is required although it is best to wear loose, comfortable pant and top for ease of movement.
Practicing with bare feet allows us to connect with the Earth and feel our energy better. However, students can wear shoes and socks If that is more comfortable for them. If socks are worn, the use of a yoga mat is recommended to avoid slipping. Soft, supportive shoes are preferred to allow freedom of movement.
What if I have injuries or illness?
Follow your personal physician’s advice and stay in comfort zone. If something hurts do NOT do it. Variations will be presented but it is the student’s responsibility to remain safe throughout the class. All classes can be practiced from a seated position.
I was hurting. Deeply. With Terri’s patience and kindness over 7 months I found my core strength again. After each private EM Yoga class I walked away feeling healthier and alive. As time went on I began to heal not just physically but became mentally stronger as well. The techniques I was taught I still use as I travel for work and when I am at home in my daily routine. It has become a crucial part of my daily life.-SM
