Practicing yoga is my lifeline for a calm mind, healthy body, and peaceful heart. I began my yoga journey in 2006 to help deal with stress, asthma, chronic back pain from multiple back injuries, and degenerative disc disease. Yoga was an unexpected life changing gift that taught me the importance of our breath and how our breath, body and spirit are connected. In 2017, I was inspired to complete the 200-hour yoga teacher training program with Charm City Yoga/YogaWorks so I can share my passion with others. To further my knowledge and practice, I completed Max Strom’s Inner Axis Intensive Teacher Training Workshop on incorporating breath-based yoga movement and mindfulness into daily practice and Lauren Walker’s Energy Medicine Yoga Certification which gave me an even greater awareness of our body’s energy system. Combining Energy Medicine with Yoga is transformative physically, mentally, emotionally, and energetically. I also completed trainings for teaching yoga to children, seniors, and students who have experienced trauma or have special needs, including chronic health conditions that require modifications. All of my classes are taught in a safe, supportive manner and environment for comfort and healing.
Certifications: RYT-200, Certified Trauma-Informed Yoga Instructor, EMYoga Level 1 Certification, and ChildLight Yoga and Mindfulness Children’s Instructor
I compassionately teach private lessons, workshops, and inclusive yoga and mindfulness classes that are accessible for kids and adults of all ages and abilities. EMYoga techniques are incorporated into each class to balance the body. Workshops and customized private EMYoga lessons are available upon request.
- Adult Classes focus on yoga as moving meditation; mindfulness, alignment, and movement coordinated with breath to help still the mind. I encourage the use of modifications and props to ease into poses and enhance practice.
- Kid’s classes are customized private lessons to accommodate each individual student’s needs. Classes are taught one to one with me or in small groups. I teach kids the importance of their breath and strategies to self-calm and reduce stress. Private lessons enable me to introduce yoga poses, breathing exercises, and mindfulness strategies in an age appropriate manner for all students, especially those with special needs.
- Private lessons are for individuals with any type of special need that require one to one instruction, or members of a organization who prefer to practice together in their community setting, or small groups who are interested in customized lessons to work on specific needs or interest of the group, or those who wish to practice yoga together to celebrate a special event together.

Yoga has transformed my life and it is my wish* to help others from ages 2 to 100+. Yoga truly is for EVERY Body!
